I am wondering how will Mr. Dorsey's inward personality effect his relationship with Elizabeth. It seems that he likes her very much but will this last. It seems like there must be more then just something such as a negative relationship with his father. This may bring an end to Mr. Dorsey's relationship with Elizabeth.
Why is Mr. Darcy conduct himself so rudely at the ball? Why do you suppose he is so anti-social and reserved when surrounded by so many eligible young ladies?
Initially it seems that Mr. Darcy is antisocial and reserved because he being arrogant and he is above talking to the young ladies. However later in the movie he admits to Elizabeth that he acted that way because he does not know what to say when meeting new people and is incredibly awkward when handling first impressions.
Mrs. Bennet wanted her to take a horse so that if it rains, she'd have to stay at his home until it subsided, thus, forcing them to spend more time together.
Mr. Wickham was very close with Mr. Darcy's father and received a good deal of money upon his death. Mr. Wickham then spent this money very quickly and attempted to take even more by marring Mr. Darcy's sister. After realizing he would not get any of the money Mr. Wickham left Mr. Darcy's sister which is what put so much stress on their relationship.
